The whole Ring Road in one week: the Golden Circle, the South Coast, Jökulsárlón, the East Fjords, Mývatn and Akureyri, ending with a night in Reykjavík.
These have no fixed price yet. To add one, write it in the wishes box when you book. We add it and confirm the price with you before we charge anything for it.
Hotels as listed or similar. If a listed hotel is full, we book one of the same standard in the same area and tell you before we confirm.
May to September. The Ring Road in 7 days needs long days of driving, which is easiest with long daylight and open roads.
From October to April the car is a 4x4. In winter we recommend the 10-day Ring Road instead: daylight is 4–6 hours in December and January, and days 2 and 6 have 4.5–5 hours of driving. Roads in the north and east can close in storms; check road.is and vedur.is every morning.
Yes, if you like driving. You see the main sights, but two days have 4.5–5 hours at the wheel. If you can, choose our 10-day Ring Road, or add a night near Skaftafell to split day 2.
It is possible, with a 4x4 included from October to April, but daylight is short and northern roads can close. For winter we recommend the 10-day Ring Road or our 7-day Northern Lights trip.
Counter-clockwise: the Golden Circle and South Coast first, then the East Fjords, Mývatn and Akureyri, and back to Reykjavík for the last night, close to the airport.
You choose Budget, Comfort or Superior. We book hotels in the Hella area, Höfn, Egilsstaðir, Mývatn, Akureyri and Reykjavík, and send the names with your confirmation.
Yes. Add tours to each day when you book, or ask us for extra nights, for example near Skaftafell or in Reykjavík.
Add a night, swap a hotel or fit the trip around your flights. We are a local travel agency in Iceland and plan every self-drive trip by hand.
