Reykjaböð is a new geothermal bathhouse in Reykjadalur, the steaming valley above Hveragerði. This ticket includes your Signature entry and a return bus from Reykjavík, so you can spend a relaxed half day in the hot springs without a car.
Reykjaböð is a new geothermal bathhouse at the start of Reykjadalur, the steaming valley above Hveragerði, about 35 minutes by car from Reykjavík. It has naturally heated pools, saunas and relaxation areas, set among green hills with steam rising from the ground, and is smaller and quieter than the big lagoons.
The Signature pass includes everything in Classic, the pools and the outdoor sauna, cold plunge and Kneipp pool, and adds the adults-only Bathhouse Spa, a robe, slippers and a drink at the in-water bar.
The drive from Reykjavík takes about 35 minutes by car through lava fields and over the Hellisheiði plateau.
About two and a half hours. The return bus leaves Reykjaböð 3.5 hours after your departure from BSÍ.
BSÍ bus terminal on Vatnsmýrarvegur in Reykjavík.
Classic gives you the pools and the outdoor ritual area with a sauna, cold plunge and Kneipp pool. Signature adds the adults-only Bathhouse Spa, a robe and slippers, and a drink at the in-water bar. Signature is for adults 18 and over.
