A Blue Lagoon shore excursion for cruise passengers: coach transfer from the port, comfort admission with a silica mud mask and a drink at the in-water bar, then drop-off in Reykjavík or back at the ship.
This is a straightforward way for cruise passengers to fit the Blue Lagoon into a port day, with a coach picking you up at the port and taking you directly to the lagoon. The comfort admission includes a silica mud mask, a towel and one drink from the swim-up bar, so you have everything you need once you arrive.
The Blue Lagoon's geothermal water sits at around 37–39°C, in a lava field around 800 years old, and it is a relaxed, low-effort stop between the ship and the airport or Reykjavík. You choose how much of your time to spend in the water within the window given, then the coach takes you on to Reykjavík or back to the port, whichever your booking is set up for.
Book with your return sailing time in mind, since the transfer and lagoon visit together take about four hours. Bring your own swimwear; towels are provided with the comfort package.
The excursion runs about 4 hours in total; check the return time against your ship's departure when booking.
