2Day 2: Golden Circle and Secret LagoonÞingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss, then a soak in the Secret Lagoon.

A small-group tour of Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfall, then a soak in the Secret Lagoon, a family-friendly geothermal pool, with admission included. The tour takes about eight hours and has no minimum age.

A small-group tour of the volcanic landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula, including the geothermal areas Krýsuvík and Gunnuhver, lava fields, coastal scenery and the Bridge Between the Continents. The tour takes about seven hours.

6Day 6: Reykjavík and departureFinal hours in the city, then the airport bus.

About the Iceland family vacation package

Planning an Iceland trip with young children can be difficult when many tours set a minimum age. This package solves that by combining small-group tours that welcome children of all ages, including babies and toddlers.

Your family stays in Reykjavík for the whole trip and travels on guided small-group tours, so there's no need to rent a car, drive long distances, or change hotels partway through. The itinerary covers three regions: the Golden Circle, the South Coast and the Reykjanes Peninsula.

A completely free day (Day 4) gives families a break between tours, whether that means resting, exploring the city at an easy pace, or adding another activity. Even without a minimum age, it's worth considering trip length: the Golden Circle tour runs about eight hours, the South Coast about ten, and Reykjanes about seven, so bring what you need for a long day out with young children.

Accommodation is not included by default, which lets you pick a family room, apartment or hotel that suits your budget; the owner can also help add suitable accommodation on request. Every tour in the package, and the airport transfers, can be upgraded to a private service for more flexibility with timing and pace.
