About the 4 day Iceland tour package

This tour packs the best-known sights of West and South Iceland into four days. You see the Golden Circle, the waterfalls and black beaches of the South Coast, the icebergs at Jökulsárlón and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, and two activities are included: a glacier hike on Sólheimajökull and a visit to the Katla ice cave.

You travel in a minibus with no more than 18 guests and an English-speaking guide, and stay three nights in countryside hotels, typically Hrífunes Hotel or similar, with private bathrooms and breakfast. Lunches and dinners are not included; your guide stops where you can buy food.

Expect long driving days, as Jökulsárlón alone is about five hours from Reykjavík. The glacier hike needs a basic level of fitness and a minimum age of 8. Summer brings long, bright days, but the weather still changes quickly, so pack waterproofs and warm layers. The order of the sights can change with weather and road conditions.

Great gude and fabulous views

The views were fabulous. Gullfoss, black sand beaches, the glacier on the horizon, etc. Our guide was top notch — friendly, informative, responsive. Made every stop matter. Hotels were also very nice and breakfast excellent.

Perfect for nature photographs

Beautiful, peaceful, dramatic landscapes. The lava fields, basalt cliffs, waterfalls, each scene more incredible than the last and perfect for photography opportunities. The guide helped us capture some epic photos and always chose spots with fewer crowds. Felt like we had the country to ourselves sometimes.

Golden moments and green nights

Planned our whole trip with Iceland Travel Guide. Had a nice chat with a very nice guy about what we wanted to do and then one day later we got sent a plan for our entire trip. We ended up doing this 4 day tour for our 4 full days in Iceland and it was the best recommendation.
Golden Circle during sunrise, South Coast on clear days, and green skies on Snaefellsnes were highlights of our trip. Our guide arranged a surprise detour to a remote beach that few tourists visit — amazing. Four days felt like a deep dive into Icelandic nature.

Familienfreundlich & Fantastisch
