About the Magic Ice Bar Reykjavík

This is a quick, different stop in the middle of a Reykjavík city day: an indoor space built almost entirely of ice, kept at around -5°C, with sculptures carved into the walls telling stories from the Icelandic sagas, including Viking sailors.

You are given a poncho and gloves at the entrance to keep warm, and a welcome drink, a blue Arctic Crowberry cocktail, is served in a glass carved from ice at the bar.
