About the Reykjavik bar crawl

This is a guided crawl through 3 bars in downtown Reykjavik, built around Icelandic drinks rather than a generic pub crawl. Along the way your guide tells the story of Iceland's beer ban, in place until 1989, and talks through the craft beer and spirits scenes that have grown since.

You choose between 10 craft beer samples across the evening or 5 spirit tastings, so it suits either preference. Between stops it is a short, easy walk through the city centre, with plenty of chat and recommendations for where to eat or carry on the night afterwards.

Iceland's minimum drinking age is 20, and this tour is for adults only. It runs year-round and mostly indoors, so it is a reasonable option even on a cold or wet evening, though you will still be walking briefly between bars, so dress for the Icelandic weather.
