About the private golf tour in Iceland

Golf is hugely popular in Iceland, and the courses around Reykjavík are unlike anywhere else: fairways laid out through moss-covered lava, along the sea, with mountains all around. This private tour takes care of the logistics so you can simply turn up and play.

Your guide picks you up at your hotel, drives you to the course and stays with you as your golf guide for the round. Courses near the capital include Keilir in Hafnarfjörður, set in a lava field by the sea, and Brautarholt on the Kjalarnes coast. The tour suits all levels, from keen amateurs to people who just want a round in an unusual place.

The season runs from May to September. In June and July it stays light all night, so you can even tee off in the evening and play under the midnight sun. Weather is part of golf in Iceland: expect wind, and bring rain gear and layers even on bright days.

Dream golf experience with Petur

This private golf tour was the perfect way to combine my love for golf and exploring Iceland. Petur was an exceptional guide, sharing local insights and making the day fun. We played the Brautarholt golf course - one of the most beautiful courses I have played with views I’ve never seen anywhere else. Highly recommend for any golf enthusiast!
